  Software Engineer, (Linux, Open Source, Scripting), English, Trading, Permanent, Dublin, Ireland. Swisslinx is currently searching for one of our clients, a financial trading/brokerage company, a highly motivated Software Engineer.
  
  As a key member of this company, you will mainly be responsible for creating various automation tools, developing scripts to gather, analyse and distribute data from various sources as well as creating and maintaining full documentation for each project.
  
  The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
  
  - 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a Linux environment
  - Experience with Open Source
  - Excellent scripting skills (Shell, Perl, Python)
  - A good understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
  - Fluency in English
  
  Experience in administrating Linux Systems as well as knowledge of C/C++ and/or PHP is advantageous.
