Hello Everybody,
Thank you, for letting me join your group. It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you.
I come from the in the international business world, which I entered in 1989. Among other positions, I worked as an Asia-Pacific Delegate out of Hong Kong from 1994 until 2000.
Today, I'm an International Management Consultant, Coach and (Net-)Trainer focusing on: Internationalization, International Marketing and Sales Management, Computer Supported Cooperation an Project Management.
Together with a partner, I'm evaluating at the moment how the virtual 3-D environment 'Second Life' (SL) could be used as an economic tool effectively to support virtual international and multicultural teams and eLearning projects including cross cultural communication training. To do so, we set up the 'E-Learning World' in SL (SLURL:
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Plush%20Pi/200/103/21 ). If you are interested in this topic feel free to meet us there, or drop me a line. My SL name is Herb Button.
You may also like to check my web catalog with more than 1,200 links related to international business around the world:
http://portal.hbimc.info/ . It contains also eLearning and Open Source categories:

When I galloped through the forums in this group, I found many contributions from experienced members. Therefore, I look forward to many good contacts and an active exchange of ideas.
Regards,
Hartmut
