    In China, the major laws and regulations governing trademark protection are as follows:

    The Trademark Law (2001); and

    The Anti-unfair Competition Law (1993); and

    The Regulations for Implementation of the Trademark Law (2002); and

    The Provisions on the Recognition and Protection of Well-known Trademark (2003); and

    The Measures for the Registration and Administration ofr Collective Marks and Certification Marks (2003); and

    The Measures for the Implementation of International Registration of Marks under the Madrid Agreement.
