For Microsoft offices in Germany (Munich) we are currently looking for a BDM Audience Marketing Manager.
BDM Audience Marketing Manager (w/m)
Location: München
Workgroups Purpose:
Defining and representing the BDM Audience Marketing for Microsoft Germany.
1. Own the BDM Audience data base strategy and quality.
2. Ensure connection and infusion of PRB to Customer Campaigns – own the BDM messaging of all BDM campaigns
3. Build BDM Relationship Marketing Program for Microsoft Germany
Ensure that the Customer Campaigns support the defined TI BDM segmentation, relationship and marketing strategies created by the BDM MM with all BDM stakeholders in Germany.
Jobs Purpose:
The Business Decision Maker (BDM) Audience Marketing Manager (AMM) is responsible for developing and driving BDM Audience marketing priorities, objectives, and plans to reach and engage Tech-Influencing BDMs (TI BDMs). The BDM AMM serves as the -audience expert- whom other subsidiary marketing and sales managers rely on for in-depth knowledge, insights and strategies related to the TI BDM audience. The BDM AMM orchestrates the subsidiarys cross-BG, cross-Segment BDM Audience v-team to develop and execute BDM Engagement and Relationship Marketing strategies, supports BDM Customer Campaign planning and connection to People Ready Business, and contributes to a worldwide approach to audience marketing strategy based on local knowledge.
Responsibility/Activity:
- Understand the industry, local demand, competitive landscape and channel ecosystem
- Own the BDM Data Base for Microsoft Germany
- Collaborate with internal teams (BGs and segments), to develop and orchestrate local strategy and plan for driving broad audience awareness, engagement, satisfaction, and other business goals. Represent the BDM customer & business within the local subsidiary
• Act as spokesperson to local media and analysts
• Define BDM Relationship strategy
• Work on the BDM Customer Campaigns
- Develop and manage budget to support the annual BDM marketing plan.
• Contribute to worldwide BDM audience marketing approach based on local knowledge and needs
• Use TI BDM research to maintain an accurate segmentation.
Experience:
• 8-10 years of experience working in software, preferably online services, in a marketing, product management or business capacity
Education:
• Required Bachelors Degree
• Preferred Masters Degree
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Experience in the BDM Marketing business required.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic (positioning, targeting, segment definition) and tactical (campaign definition and execution, metrics evaluation) execution in the German subsidiary required.
• Demonstrated leadership and success in marketing, business management, product planning, or product management
• Experience in developing and managing major relationships required
• Excellent analytical, communication and decision making skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex business issues
• Proven experience in selling product/services to enterprise BDMs
• Knowledge of advertising business; ad sales experience strongly preferred
• Very strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Ability to be open, honest, and respectful of others
• Native speaker of local language preferred (bi- or multi-lingual where required)
• Thorough understanding of the Microsoft and competitive business strategies strongly preferred
