    Hallo liebe Gruppenmitglieder,

    Ich möchte mich kurz in meiner neuen Rolle als Co-Moderator dieser Gruppe vorstellen. Unserer Ziel ist es, die Gruppe zu internationalisieren, und soweit wie möglich die sprachlichen Grenzen zu überwinden, und ich kümmere mich in diesem Zusammenhang konkret um die spanischsprachigen Foren. Natürlich sind alle Gruppenmitglieder, die spanisch können, auch wenn es nicht perfekt ist, herzlich dazu einladen, an diesen Foren teilzunehmen und sie zu abonnieren, und sich insbesondere auch in dem dafür vorgesehenen spanischen Forum vorzustellen. Für die spanischsprachigen Mitglieder, die der Deutschen und / oder Englischen Sprache mächtig sind, gilt natürlich umgekehrt genau das gleiche. Und für jedes Weiterempfehlen der Gruppe an Eure mathematisch interessanten Kontakte (gerade auch an spanischsprachige) sind wir natürlich sehr dankbar.

    Kurz zu meiner Person, ich bin Deutscher, aber seit Abschluss meines Studiums an der Universität Göttingen (Diplom in Physik ergänzt durch ein Vordiplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften) lebe und arbeite ich in Madrid, wo ich vor einigen Jahren auch an der Universidad Complutense einen Master in Mathematical Engineering absolvierte. Nach 15 Jahren beruflicher Erfahrung auf internationaler Ebene, in IT-, technischer, mathematischer und statistischer Beratung und dem Design und Vertrieb komplexer IT-Systeme und -Lösungen, bin ich jetzt dabei, in Koordination mit Katharina Schüller, einer der Moderatorinnen dieser Gruppe und Besitzerin des deutschen statistischen Beratungs- und Dienstleistungsunternehmens STAT-UP, das Unternehmen für Spanien und Portugal aufzubauen. Insofern bin ich dieser Mathematik-Gruppe sehr verbunden, da unser Kontakt über sie zustande kam, was ein Beispiel dafür ist, wie fruchtbar das Networking in dieser Gruppe sein kann :-)

    Dear group members,

    I would like to introduce myself briefly in my new role as a co-moderator of this group. Our goal is to internationalize the group, and as far as possible to overcome language barriers, and in this context I am in charge of the forums in Spanish. Obviously all group member which speak some Spanish, although it may not be perfect, are very welcome to participate in these forums and to subscribe to them, and especially to present themselves in the Spanish introduction forum, and the same is true the other war round for the Spanish speaking natives, which speak some English and / or German. And of course we'd appreciate if you'd recommend this group to your (particularly Spanish speaking) contacts interested in mathematics.

    Some words about myself, I'm German, but since I finished my studies at the University of Göttingen (MSc & BSc in Physics and diploma in Economics and Business Administration) I live and work in Madrid, where I completed some years ago a Master in Mathematical Engineering at the Universidad Complutense. After 15 years of international professional experience, in areas such as IT-, technical, mathematical and statistical consulting as well as in design and sales of complex IT-systems and solutions, I am now, in coordination with Katharina Schüller, one of the moderators of this group and owner of the German statistical consulting and services company STAT-UP, setting up the company for Spain and Portugal. So I am very grateful to this group, as we both got in touch through it, which shows how productive the networking in this group can be :-)

    Estimados miembros del grupo,

    Quisiera presentarme brevemente en mi nuevo papel como co-moderador de este grupo. Nuestro objetivo es internacionalizar el grupo, y en la medida de lo posible superar las barreras lingüísticas, y en este contexto yo me ocupo de los foros en español. Obviamente todos los miembros de este grupo que hablen español, sea o no su lengua materna, están invitados a participar en estos foros y a suscribirse a ellos, y especialmente a presentarse en el foro español de introducción. Y por supuesto lo mismo aplica en el sentido inverso para los hispanohablantes que hablen inglés y / o alemán. También os agradeceríamos si recomendarais el grupo a todos vuestros contactos (particularmente hispanohablantes) interesados en las matemáticas.

    Algunas palabras sobre mi, soy alemán, pero desde que terminé mis estudios en la Universidad de Göttingen (Licenciatura en CC. Física y Diploma en Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales) vivo y trabajo en Madrid, donde completé hace unos años un Máster en Ingeniería Matemática en la Universidad Complutense. Después de 15 años de experiencia profesional internacional, en áreas como la consultoría estadística, matemática, técnica e informática, así como en el diseño y la venta de complejos sistemas y soluciones TI, estoy ahora, en coordinación con Katharina Schüller, una de las moderadoras del grupo y propietaria de la empresa alemana de consultoría y servicios estadísticos STAT-UP, poniendo en marcha la compañía para España y Portugal. Así que estoy muy agradecido a este grupo, ya que nuestro contacto se estableció a través de él, lo cuál demuestra lo fructífero que puede ser el Networking en este grupo:-)

    Typisch Mathematiker: erst wird der allgemeine Fall einer XING-Gruppe entworfen. Dann widmet man sich den speziellen Fällen einer XING-Gruppe in diversen Fremdsprachen. ;-)
