Hi,
I have some questions to a problem, which can be solved - probably - with knowledge in game theory.
Before I present the problem in a public forum , I would like to discuss the problem offline, perhaps it is trivial or too difficult.
So please get in contact with me, if you have interest.
Br,
Winfried
P.S.:
"I have discovered a truly marvellous proof of this, which this margin is too narrow to contain."
ah no, this was another problem ... ;-)

I consider fundamental by an historical view the Morgestern-von Neumann book, where the cooperative games are developped with axioms and explicated with ease exempla.
For a simple non-cooperative game, we can think about the prisoner dilemma. Also it is important in economics the Cournot model and in biology the hawks-dove model.
If non-cooperative equilibria don't exist for repetute games at perfect information, we can apply iterative methods for informatics. A mix between cooperative and non-cooperative games is the Nash bargaining.
