My Artistic Beginnings
Dear gentle readers

Such a perfect morn
standing on Dartmoor wind in my face
paper fluttering in a gentle breeze

my view transfixed on a golden scene
light washing and infusing a desolate landscape
transforming it with its alchemy of fire

these moments have ever held me
drawn by their alchemy such a need to capture them
with marks from my brush……it was ever thus from my beginnings
