Intoducing Prevailing Winds, paintings, writings and a blog
I paint, I write and this union has resulted in a blog titled Prevailing Winds which I introduce here.

The work is stories/writings that look at curiosities of life, love, death, and the beyond. These writings are on the blog Prevailing Winds and they will be made into paintings. I like each piece to be accompanied with a page of thoughts and observations which stray in various directions and in this way the paticular piece can expand. This is shown on the blog.

I look in to look out to find ways to put across who we might be. The ludicrous state we have got the planet into is no suprise if you think how we treat ouselves, part of which is in many cases the denial of our center. I see art as a probe into life, therefore a probe into the soul. We are just part of the landscape, not the landscape.

Prevailing Winds is part of a triptych, the writing/story, the painting, the blog, Maybe the writings are not poetry, but it’s poetic, I hope you enjoy it.

Hi Paul, i have just been to your website and I am really impressed with some of your paintings.

I think there´s beautiful ideas and execution in gallery 3,

but "Lands End", "Gurnards Bay", "Through Passage" and "Full Moon" are AMAZING.

Maybe you should display them in a nicer website ?
