Mixed Reality - Was ist das denn?


Unter Mixed Reality oder Augmented Reality versteht man die Anreicherung oder Vermischung der Realität durch virtuelle Komponenten in Echtzeit.
Oft werden beide Begriffe synonym verwendet, es gibt jedoch feine Unterschiede.

Mixed Reality wird unseren Alltag und unser Geschäftsleben in den kommenden Jahren maßgeblich durchdringen. Es ist kein Forschungsfeld mehr, sondern ein Produkt, welches nicht nur bei den "Early Adopters" zum Einsatz kommt.
Nachdem es professionelle Anwendungen für Simulationen in Industrie und Rüstung gibt, wird Augmented Reality zunehmend sowohl für Präsentationen als auch Spiele und Entertainment verwendet.
