Mobile Development

The Mobile Development-Group at XING is an independent consolidation of hobby and professional developers, project managers and consultants, who are interested in topics around software development for mobile devices. The group’s primary objective is not only to cover topics about the .NET Compact Framework and Windows Mobile, but other common platforms like Android, Palm or Windows CE as well. We like the group to be a place to network and exchange knowledge/know-how. For example, we aggregate community events here and plan to organize a Mobile Bar Camp. This group is explicitly limited to software development, which includes Web 2.0 as well. The discussion of business models, marketing, support etc. regarding Mobile Computing remain explicitly unenclosed.

Notices of Mobile Computing events by group members or foreigners can be sent to torsten.weber@compactframework.de and peter.nowak@compactframework.de at any time. After an editorial review they will get posted here.

Rules of the Mobile Developement group Undesired advertising, insulting or aggressive commenting and any other disruption of other members is prohibited. Violations lead, after an one-time admonishment, to the exclusion from the group. All members should allow the reception of private messages from the moderators.
