Hello, dear members!
For those who want to catch some spiritual insight or just to get a portion of pleasant emotions,
unique exhibition of gravures by Ludmila Belyakova takes place in Moscow. Ludmila engraves on copper and uses only smut as black color, no other dyestuff, but thanks to her unique method her gravures include up to 80 colors and color nuances... I have heard that engraving on copper may have effect of only 9 colors (according to scientists).
Strength of diffraction given by her engravings is so great that one can`t make photo of them: camera gets broken. When Putin had visited the exhibition, he commanded to organize photo-shooting and then few scientistc from institute designed special optical construction for shooting.
Exhibition "Belyakovskaya Monogravyura" takes place at Staraya Basmannaya str, 16 (m. Krasnie vorota or m. Kurskaya). It`s in the yard of a beautiful church which is also worth visiting.
11.00-20.00
Moday is day off.
Till the 23d of August.
Enjoy!
P.s.: Watch each gravure from different sites, bow head left/right - it helps to catch all varity of colors and interpretations. Pitty, they lightning there isn`t good enough.
