Procurement Executive vacancy in Siemens Ltd. Mumbai location
Dear All,

Our department, International Procurement Office Siemens India, is looking for a potential candidate in Procurement function.

Siemens has located ‘International Procurement Offices (IPO)’ in different parts of the world to utilize the advantages of global sourcing strategies. These Procurement Offices are responsible for identifying and exploring important supplier markets and building up logistics networks between suppliers and Siemens factories worldwide.
In view of the growing importance of the Indian supplier market, IPO-India was established in 1997 by Automation and Drives (A&D) to support its global sourcing activities in India. In FY 07-08 IPO-India covered the demand of total 30 Siemens locations in Germany, other areas of Europe and the USA with a purchasing volume of about EURO 25.5 million. IPO-India works in close contact with various Siemens factories in India for information exchange related to technical and purchasing matters.
Scope of the activities performed by IPO-India includes market surveys, supplier evaluations, sample development, inquiry execution and expediting. IPO-India also remains in close contact with the Siemens’ overseas factories as well as the Indian suppliers regarding any technical or quality matters.

Experience - At least 2-3 years in Purchasing/Procurement or related Supply Chain Function. International exposure is Preferred.

Should be able to handle following responsibilities -

**Coordination between Indian supplier and Overseas Siemens buyers **

Details of job description -

- Coordination and support of RFQ (Request for Quotation) process
- Coordination of timelines and schedules
- Coordination of first article development and Approval

- Coordination of purchase order process
- Managing of forecast provided by Overseas location with supplier
- Managing and support of delivery process with suppliers

- Logistics coordination and correspondences
- India Shipping and Customs coordination

- Quality monitoring and coordination of corrective action
- Supplier Audits
- Supplier development support and involvement

- Coordination and support of supplier visits to Overseas location
- Coordination and support of Overseas location colleagues visits to India

Location - Office is located in Kalwa, near Thane, Mumbai. Job requires frequent travel within India and few times Internationally.
