  Review of “DEV D”.

  Hi Friend,
  Yesterday I had been to see Movie “DEV D” premiere show. Invitation itself was something extra ordinary as It carried a Durex Condom along with Invitation.
  
  This film which is a modern-day take on Sarat Chandra's novel, 'Devdas', is being produced by UTV Spotboy and is being written and directed by Anurag himself. Already Devdas movie has been made twice before. In first one it was Legend Dilip Kumar as a Lead actor and in second it was ShahRukh Khan as a lead actor which is Devdas. Dev.D is very much unlike the original, wherein the main lead Abhay Deol is a hypocrite who drowns himself in self-pity and is a man who cannot stand up for himself.
  In Dev D Paro and Dev are connected through latest electronics gadgets like Mobile, Internet etc. Dev D does not only take shelter of alcohol but also drugs to drown him.
  Note: Do not miss the start when Dev has been shown young and the way he calls his father. Its fun in the starting of Movie.
  It’s a true replica of current generation the way they are connected to each other and make use of photos & MMS(mobile).
  Its been given 5 Stars by Times Of India which means a good movie and worth watching once.
