Hello Everyone,
Be it a sari or a funky short dress, pearls are your perfect companion. They have a great rapport with the sari and even Maharani Gayatri Devi never steps out without her shimmering pearls. Designer Ritu Beri says, “Personally I love Baroque and south sea pearls. You can wear them with an exquisitely embroidered sari.” Forget the bling; we’re bringing back the old Hollywood glamour with pearls.
Who can forget the opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, in which Audrey Hepburn wore a Givenchy black dress and teamed it up with three strands of white pearls and crystal pendant. Model Nina Manuel says, “I love wearing pearl necklace with crisp white shirt and blue jeans. And if in a party mood, then I team them up with a sexy black off shoulder knee length dress.”
