    Heinz makes the default ketchup....
Heinz makes the default ketchup — the dominant ketchup. Someone might make a “better” ketchup, but that’s simply missing the point. The majority has bought into Heinz’s style of ketchup, so Heinz wins.
Coming out with a new search engine must be like coming out with a new ketchup.

Microsoft (MSFT) and Yahoo (YHOO) try to break Google hold but they can’t. Reason is how Heinz is associated to word ketchup, Google (GOOG) is with search. Now the question is can you beat GOOG. Scott Jones thinks yes. Few months ago he founded ChaCha, a search engine that aggregates other engines like Google and hires human guides to do the searching for you. By the first quarter of this year he has already signed 30,000 guides. They earn between $5-10 per search hour based on performance.he expects to have 300,000 guides by June - as well as 1 million consistent users.

But Scott Jones (co-founder) doesn’t much care how many searchers log on from their desks. His real goal is to make ChaCha the search engine of choice for cell-phone users. Vision is to create a voice and search era.
a toll-free number—>15 to 30 seconds waiting…—>result (Revenue- targeted voice ads during waiting period)
    Expectation- $12 million next year
