Dear all, I’m now in search for one of our Dubai based client of three Oracle Resources immediately available only as a free-lance for Delphi Solution International.

The project is a fresh implementation of Oracle Retail (formerly Retek) for a large retailer in Dubai.
Phase 1 is complete (requirement gathering), so they will hit the ground running with the design phase. This is version Oracle Retail 12. Local resources are preferred, but they will travel the right person in. Travel schedule would be something like onsite 3-4 weeks and then back home.

First Research: Program Director - to work in Dubai for at least 9 months but likely closer to 12-24 months. Resume would need to show the following criteria:
(i) Demonstrable evidence of having been a successful Program Director
(ii) Has managed complex stakeholders - track record at being able to work at all levels within a major program
(iii) Deep knowledge of Oracle Retail product suite
(iv) Is prepared to work almost full time in Dubai for at least nine months.
(v) (preferably) is employed as Oracle employee.
Items (i) to (iv) inclusive are must haves.

Second Research: Project Manager - This resource would be expected to manage project budget, forecasting and communications at all levels to the Oracle team as well as the client.

Third Research: Solution Architect - Merchandising and extensive Warehouse Management System(WMS) experience
This person will have the joint responsibility for the overall Enterprise Architecture with the Technical Architect.
• Sets strategic end to end vision for the Oracle Retail applications.
• Identifies and provides solutions for consistency issues across the different components of the Oracle Retail applications
• Make recommendations on the Retail Applications Roadmap
• Make recommendations on the Programme Applications deployment plans
• Responsible for reviewing all applications configurations to ensure compatibility with the defined business process requirements
• Responsible for the functional aspects of the retail applications and the overall Oracle Retail solution functionality
• Verify that the solution meets the business needs documented during the course of the workshops or highlight areas where it fails to do so

The key - cultural fit, Arabic language preferred but Not Required.
Duration : 9+ months up to 2 years
