NetWeaving

"NetWeaving" is a Golden Rule form of networking based upon the concept of helping others, with simply the confidence and trust to know that, "whatever goes around, comes around." Learn to be a strategic matchmaker for others and learn to position yourself as a strategic resource for others.
Are YOU a NetWeaver. . .and didn't know it?
Whether or not you were one of the MILLIONS who read the book or saw the movie, "Pay It Forward", it's all about a small boy who comes up with a very simple idea which changes the world - when someone does a favor for you, rather than paying that person back, you 'pay it forward' and do a favor or favors for someone else.

A NetWeaver is not only someone who enjoys helping others, but someone who learns to actually do so either by:

• connecting that person - with someone else whom he or she would benefit meeting or knowing

• providing information or resources to someone else - either ones you can provide (no-strings-attached) or those from someone in your network

• building your own "Trusted Resource Network" - made up of persons who are exceptional at what they do

If you are already doing one or more of these skill sets which make up NetWeaving, OR if you recognize that you have done some, but would like to learn how to do MUCH more, then we hope you will want to join and participate in the NetWeaving International Community which we believe is potentially MILLIONS strong throughout the world.

With permission of Catherine Ryan Hyde, the woman who wrote the book, "Pay It Forward" on which the popular movie is based, NetWeaving is now known as the "BUSINESS version of Pay It Forward". We show people how to 'host' a connection (virtually over Xing or in-person) of two or more people. . .with THEIR Needs and Opportunities in mind rather than just your own.

Then, instead of looking to be 'paid back', you ask each of the persons you have helped to 'pay it forward' and help someone else - either by making an introduction or offering your resources. And the best news is that if you believe in the law of reciprocity, then you know that, "what goes around, DOES come back around"

.

If this sounds like something you would like to:

• learn more about - NetWeaving - the skill sets as well as strategies for building more NetWeaving into your daily routine. . .and by so doing, become more 'referable' yourself.

• get to know other like-minded persons who genuinely share your same philosophy.

• learn how to become an ambassador of the concept and eventually to teach and train others.

then this is a community where you will want to spend a good bit of your precious time.

Who is Bob Littell?

Bob Littell, Chief NetWeaver and founder of NetWeaving, is co-author with Donna Fisher of "Power NetWeaving" and author of "The Heart and Art of NetWeaving" for which, thanks to Xerox Global Services who prints the book, all proceeds are donated to charities.

The LENGTH of a person's life is not what counts. . .it's QUALITY of the content with which they fill it. NetWeaving will add quality to your content.

Why not go spend a few minutes to discover where you currently stand as a NetWeaver by taking the "NetWeaver's Skill Sets Assessment" Click on the upper left banner "How do you score as a NetWeaver?" on the Home Page.
