Welcome to the New Science Journalism Project
New Science Journalism Project
We are currently seeking individuals, groups, businesses and investors who are interested in being a partner in the New Science Journalism (NSJ) Project. We are currently spearheading a major international marketing campaign for the Project.
The
New Science Journalism Project is an international initiative to platform environmental science communication and is specifically targeting students of science and mass media communication worldwide. The Project, which takes the form of an online magazine, is set to launch on World Environment Day, the 5th June 2009.
The NSJ Project is being developed by the German-based international creative agency,
alibidesigns and US web development company
Solspace, in collaboration with the Science Communication Department at the University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia.
By establishing this Xing Group we are hoping to provide a neutral base for general and open communication about the NSJ Project.
The New Science Journalism
Mission Statement is:
The New Science Journalism Project will deploy and develop new media technologies in order to provide a global platform that raises the professional standards of environmental science journalism worldwide. We will provide paid opportunities for young science communicators to strategically direct their career path into science communication and science journalism. We will reflect the urgency at which nations must unify all scientific knowledge to understand our climate. We will forge a path to which the communication of environmental science is a shared, meaningful and effective global process. Finally, we will guard the public’s right to accurate and poignant science news.
