Week 13: Niners@Bills
Wow! What an opening drive by the Niners: 4 passes for 16, 15, 18 and 12 yards (the last for a TD to Bruce) in an 8:04 drive - looks like the Bills secondary has their hands full. Shaun was 4 of 5 for 61 yards in this drive and Frank got 16 more in 9 carries...

The D is performing quite well, too - what a GL-stand @ the 2! And the forced 20 yrd FG was no good!!!

He, he, a recovered fumble at the BUF 40 with 0:34 in the 1st half and a resulting 50 yrd FG is not too shabby either - Nedney is a real clutch kicker :-) HT: 10-0 Niners

Uh uh, now that we finally have a QB who doesn't permanently turn over the ball, our RB seems to have stepped right in - 2nd Gore fumble today :-( But the D steps in and bails him out - they allow 3 long downs, but then they stop the Bills at the 6, the Bills go for it: 4th & 2 at the SF 7 - no way, the D is holding!!! Still 10-3 Niners :-)

And again the D holds on the next BUF drive, they sack Losman on 3rd & 4 - and the resulting 40 yrd FG is not good :-)

The Niners don't score and the Bills get the ball back with 1:47 and no timeouts - and the Niners D force a 4th & 15 - which fails!!!

Well, the D against the pass was great today, but they allowed 134 yards rushing! As long as it lets them win the game, that is OK with me <g>

Our O performed real good when it counted, but Gore only got 66 yrd on 24 carries - no factor, it was a game in the air. I will refrain from commenting on the VD TD which was whisteled dead bc of an offensive PI by VD - this guy drives me crazy...
Shaun was 14 of 23 for 161 and 1 TD - not great but obviously enough...

But all that doesn't matter, Sing won a crucial game which most likely will help him keep his job permanently. Thanks to him this team looks quite different from a few weeks ago - far better.

Jetzt noch ein Spiel vorher zumachen und Dominanz ausstrahlen, dann sind wir auf dem Weg. Ja, vor allem das vierte Quarter muß viel besser werden (rule 3: finish)

Nach so einem Eröffnungsdrive, nichts folgen zu lassen - Schade, aber gewonnen! He he, ich glaube der opening drive hat den Bills die Moral genommen <lol>
