Wish #2: Network leaders conference
Networking is the business of the future (that´s what the common networker think ;-)
I would suggest some kind of conference where network leaders can meet and share ideas. I´am quite sure that something is in the pipeline of the forum initiators already.

Thus I would only add some suggestions:

1) Don´t start it as a big, "clean" show in a first class hotel or fair location.
I get hundreds of invitations with the best speakers in the world and the most promising themes and accomodation. Even if I had the time and money to visit each of them, I would´nt do that.
First of all there are too much offers. You never know which event is the one which is really valuable for you.
For a network leaders conference you´ll start high expectations which have to be met in the end, or the first conference would be the last. A more honest approach would be one or more smaller events adding up later to big events - as in every network which starts to expand ;-)
Additionally if you plan it big you´ll have to charge a lot of money for this event by excluding "high potentials" which are at their begin or just "fighting with day-today business".

2) Try hard to find reasons for network leaders to show up.
It´s a must have that such kind of conference would be a real value for all visitors. Just considering my own time spend on my companies and networks I must be really convinced that I and/or my networks would profit from such kind of event.
If it´s on a more regional level (see 1) than I perhaps would considering it for meeting some interesting people, but as soon as I have to travel around states or countries you´ll have a hard job to do.
So I would use a new forum topic to get ideas and discussions what an event should have to make it worth visiting it.

3) Regional, national or international
From my point of view you have to do all. Develop it naturally (see 1), but include international options and opportunities. Later become big. From what I believe the most valuable part of a meta-network should be to get in contact with other countries and cultures.

So if we can agree to some rules and benefits for all I would be glad to invite other networks to the Meropolitan Regions of Nuremberg or Vienna or take part in your areas as well.
