BSE Sensex – Reuters – .BSESN
NSE Nifty – Reuters Symbol – .NSEI
Last week, the Sensex and the Nifty rose by over 890 and 270 points respectively over the preceding week. The rise was supported by significantly higher volumes. The market activity was largely in-line with the outlook presented last Sunday.
Going forward the near term target of 15590-15600 looks to be attained in the coming week. However this region is a resistance zone and we could see some consolidation around these levels, before moving towards 16000.
The short term trend will remain positive as long as the Sensex stays above the 15000.
