• Why women smile in their profile photos of business networking sites?

  Why women smile in their profile photos of business networking sites?

  Ever since I entered business I have been hearing from the gurus that one should wear a smile always in business to increase one’s gains. After a month’s research into smiling faces of business networking sites, to my surprise, I found majority of women left a smiling profile photo whereas a negligible number of men followed suit. Is that because women have better business sense or they want to look good always?

  Smile is an universal sign of friendliness irrespective of language, religion, nationality, sex or any other classification.
  
  According to me it is a basic expression for any human being to give the first impression about himself or herself to any known or unknown person.
  
  Smile on a face tells you how happy the person is and how happy can he keep his sorrounding.
  
  I feel Smile is all about one's charector and not about business or sex.

  A smile can mean a lot of things, depending on who is smiling. It could mean hello, it could mean shyness, it could mean nervousness, and it could also just be a natural reaction - i think many women do smile a lot because they are comfortable doing and also like doing so.

  Smile is everything! A serious/neutral countenance will not make a person acceptable or welcome. Particularly in business or politics, a smiling face counts a lot. It creates an aura of peace and approachability, and without that in place one cannot be successful in business or anything. If one believes that one has reached great heights with a stern/neutral look, s/he should remember s/he could have reached greater heights with a smile on your face. If one believes, it is genetics which comes into play behind a woman’s smiling face, then you are wrong because I mentioned smiling pics only on BNS not in any social networking sites. Let’s give them their due, and start smiling regardless of gender. Congrats and thanks, smiling ladies. Keep Smiling!
  
  Earlier, I had a stern look snap, I replaced it with a smiling one after stumbling upon this new discovery, the treasure called 'Smile'.
