    During the last quarter 2008, we were confronted with some kind of changes within the moderation team. The situation has now got a calm glance, and I hope that we will dispose with more time and resources for the Nutri-Net 2009.

    1. The Nutri-Net_2008 was a successful season. My statistical estimates showed me a growth rate of more than 300%. A variation in order of 1169 members (in December 2007) to 3533 members during the 2008 (12.01.2008 to 12.12.2008).

    2. The group had experienced a growth’s rhythm of around 25.2 members per month roundly 1 member per day. :-) .

    3. The participation rate (publication of articles) at the end of 2008was around 80% of the effective members with the means of 0.8 article per effective member (absolute numbers= 2851 quality posted articles for 3533 effective members). -----------The actual stand is 77% of member contribution.----------------

    5. The distribution of effective members per sex showed an elevated proportion of women 57.2% n=2020) vs. 35.3% males (n=1247) and 7.5% were not classified (my mistake, n=266).

    6. The gender specific distribution of effective members by profession has shown following:
     From all effective members (n=3533), we had Employee (n=734; 20.8%); Freelance (n=408; 11.6%); Entrepreneur (n=479; 13.6%); Executive (n=129; 3.7%) and other professions (n=1783; 50.5%).
     Among female members (n=2020), we had following proportions: Employee (n=517; 25.6%); Freelance (n=282; 14.0%); Entrepreneur (n=285; 14.1%); Executive (n=52; 2.6%) and other professions (n=884; 43.8%).
     In male group (n=1247), Employee (n=213; 17.1%); Freelance (n=121; 9.7%); Entrepreneur (n=192; 15.4%); Executive (n=77; 6.2%) and other profession (n=644; 51.6%).
     6.4. In the group sex not defined (n=266), we have: Employee (n=3; 1.2%); Freelance (n=5; 1.8%); Entrepreneur (n=2; 0.6%) and othe profession (n=256; 96.3%).
