    The Job -

    Aneeva Ltd. - Business Acceleration in Europe – is looking to hire a Technical Product Supporter with excellent interpersonal skills.

    The assignment is intended for either:
    – a person to be hired by Aneeva, or
    – a free lancer with whom Aneeva will make a strong commitment to, or
    – an IT company who can provide the needed support.

    The main focus of the job is to provide 1st and 2nd tier product support to end customers including large private and governmental organizations. Besides the tasks around technical product support and maintenance, the job also requires an amount of “holding hands” with the end customers.
    The location of the work is mainly in the Scandinavia, and the person has to live in the Oresunds Region.

    As a Technical Product Supporter you will have extensive responsibilities, making sure that customers are satisfied with the installation, integration, maintenance and support – to an extent that will make the customer comfortable to make recurring purchases.
    You will work with several projects/products and customers at one time, at different physical locations, within the region.

    You will assist the pre and post sales and engineering when required





    Basic Requirements -

    You should have good communication skills in English and with a good experience in service and support with large customers and production operation.

    It is necessary that you have experienced working in a Multi-national environment.



    Basic Technical Skills

    – Professional knowledge in operating systems (windows , Linux , Unix)
    – Professional knowledge and experience in communication protocols and networking (knowledge in Telephony is an advantage )
    – Code / Script writing capabilities (SQL , Unix , Perl)
    – Has knowledge for installing patches, fix packs, service packs, software / hardware upgrades, and new systems
    – Be familiar with switch vendors interfaces related to his assigned projects
    – Be able to assist the customer with maintenance procedures such as: Full and incremental backup, update anti-virus definitions, backup subsystems for the event of crashes, clean the DBS tape drive with cleaning cassette, change SA password in DBS , change domain name and password
    – Be familiar with Operator and SysAdmin applications
    – Use PC-Anywhere, HyperTerminal, Exceed, Telnet, SSH
    – Knowledge of troubleshooting strategies
    – Communication Equipment – configuration and troubleshooting



    The Process –

    As part of the placement process the relevant person will undergo a number of interviews and full day tests, of abilities, technical skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills and general physiological tests.
    These tests will be conducted by Aneeva, our customers and the organizations you will work in.
