  Polar Rose - are looking for a Lead Software Architect for a fun job in Malmö

  Polar Rose is seeking a lead architect responsible for leading design and coding of image web search infrastructure built on Polar Rose's unique computer vision technology. As lead architect you will handle server architecture design for Polar Rose's rapidly growing web services as well as managing and building components of the web services. Candidates must be in or able to relocate to the Copenhagen/Malmö area.
  
  Required Experience:
  * Strong foundation in distributed service oriented system architecture and development
  * Exceptional object-oriented software design and programming skills
  * A strong track record in software or algorithm design, preferably in the areas of search, distributed systems, and/or web services.
  * Quality control using stress, unit, and integration testing
  * B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent; an M.Sc. or Ph.D. is a plus
  * Excellent communication and release planning skills
  
  Pluses (nice-to-haves):
  * Active contributions to open source projects
  * Experience with Apache Lucene and/or Nutch
  
  Technologies:
  * Java 5
  * Spring 2.0
  * Remoting
  * Lucene
  * JMS / ActiveMQ
  * Maven
