Welcome to the Offshoring Research Network!
The Offshoring Research Network (ORN) is a widely recognized international community of companies and researchers studying and developing knowledge on the sourcing and globalization of business functions and services. It was initiated in 2004 and has been managed by the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. The ORN has research partners in the UK, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Italy and Australia.
The ORN team conducts annual client and service provider surveys, custom research and case studies, addressing all organizations engaged in or considering offshoring and outsourcing. It covers all major industries and services, such as IT, Software Development, Marketing & Sales, Finance & Accounting, Customer Service, HR, Legal Services, Analytical & Knowledge Services, Engineering, R&D, and Product Design.
