    Dear friends & valued members,

    I had ignited "weekly review" newsletter (formerly known as "latest news from last week") in September 2008 for the first time and it gained great success in my other groups (i.e. Turkish Business Club Weekly Newsletter), and now it's time to revitalize this feature for our group and increase interaction between our members.

    I kindly request you to introduce your company, products, services, post your company news, post industrial news which you'd be interested and like to share with our group members, announce events and exhibitions.

    The more you post articles in the scope of I mentioned above, the more you'll be published on our newsletter and interaction between you and our group members will increase.

    The organic sector in Poland
    The development of organic agriculture in Poland is considered to be very important since it will provide new jobs, encourage the development of rural areas and foster the protection of the environment. Through encouraging financial subsidies for conversion to organic production, the country is on the way to reach the goal set for the year 2013 when 25,000 farms and an area of 500,000 hectares are to be certified as organic.

    Azerbaijan: ELS centre opposes GMO
    The independent research centre ELS continues its work to prevent harm caused by GMOs in Azerbaijan. The Centre’s head Irada Yagubova said that the centre was planning to continue working with the population and organize polls and roundtables. On this basis, it would draw up documents to decide in what direction further work needed to be done. The centre was also continuing to work with the Ministries of Agriculture and of Environment and Natural Resources.
