1. Eurobarometer survey on e-commerce
On 20th June, the results of an EU-wide survey on e-commerce and business and consumer attitudes to cross-border trade showed that e-commerce remains widely national. The figures show e-commerce remains largely national.

2. Report on e-commerce
On 5th June, IDATE (a leading European research company for telecoms and digital markets) also published a report on online sales: social networks seem to be a key factor in the growth in online sales and they should ensure their visitors become potential buyers.

3. Consumer Centres Network empower consumers - 2007 Report
On 18th June, the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) published its Annual Report for 2007 on their activities (providing consumers with advice on cross border shopping -both in person and online). More than half of the complaints concerned online transactions. Consumer Protection Commissioner, Meglena Kuneva said that the ECCs are a very important tool in helping consumers with cross-border problems.
