    Introducing Ries Bouwman - ICON - Open Source CFD
    Hi,

    My name is Ries Bouwman. I was born in the Netherlands. I have studied Mining engineering (2003) and Physics (2004) at the KULeuven (Belgium) and finished my PhD in 2008 at the Montanuniversity Leoben (Austria).

    I am married and have two daughters. Currently I live in Graz (Austria).

    I have a solid background in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), physics and engineering. I am experienced in handling international customers and in presenting results of projects. I am internationally orientated and fluent in four languages, proficiencies that got strengthen and enriched with a more cultural basis during numerous stays in different countries.

    Since 2009, I am working for ICON (http://www.iconcfd.com). We are specialised in CFD consulting, both using commercial and open source codes (http://www.opensourceCFD.com).

    I hope I can add value to this group from the Fluid Dynamics side of the story.
