Thanks for the opportunity to introduce myself - i.e. Norm Clark of The Poster Online.
I am semi-retired and live in Burgundy, France with my French wife of 32 years. Although I was born and bred in the UK, I have spent 50 of my 67 years in foreign countries, using the overall umbrella of initially Advertising, and then the more comprehensive one of Marketing to earn a living.
I have headed up Advertising Agencies, partnered in others, and latterly became a Marketing Professor with European Business School and United Business Institute in Brussels. I also do Public Seminars on Marketing.
My current activities are predominantly related to putting down my experience and pragmatic knowledge in various forms - books, cd's and e-books. To this end I have divided my activities into different sectors;
1) Books on, or related to, Marketing and Advertising. and include eight volumes of Old Poster picture books, plus my own Memoirs 'Brothels, beans & in-betweens - or 50 years an international Ad-man'. The main part of these can be seen on

2) Text Book sales. My text book 'Fitting in the 4th P - an IMC Primer' is aimed at students and new arrivals into Marketing, and can be seen on
http://www.amazon.com
2) Fully-narrated Marketing CD's, plus a series of Social History CD's which are now being converted to books and e-books. The former include 'International Marketing' , 'Brand Management', 'Sales Promotion', Direct Marketing', 'Marketing for SME's', 'Marketing Psychology' with an average of 14 hours study material on each.
Details of these on

3) With my interest in and some considerable knowledge base, I now publish a Monthly, free, online publication called The Poster Online. In the two months since it started, we now have a 400+ plus subscriber list. I make no secret of the fact that I want to use this as an unusual promotional vehicle for companies - advertising, sponsorship etc. In order to do this I am aiming to build the circulation - can't be more honest than that can I?
detsils can be seen on

4) Marketing Consultancy , Training and Lecturing on request, predominantly for SME's and new-entrant EU countries where I have considerable experience.
Other occupations involve more books - with A History of Propaganda, Graphic Design Styles of the 20th Century, A Curious History of Motoring, How the 3rd Republic affected the French, The Poster in History, A Picture History of Labelling & Packaging currently underway.
To fill in the gaps, I paint old cars, trains, and Napoleonic Military Uniforms, fight the 3500 sq. metres of land and fruit trees where we live, rear a feral cat to stop him thinking he is a tiger, - and throughly enjoy France.
Keeps me occupied!

Hi Ilhem,
many thanks for the welcome, and yes I would like to pass on information about The Poster Online being freely available - what do I need to do?
Yes, I do love France, and having lived in 12 different countries in my 67 years, I think on average it has the life balance about right - in my case a nice (affordable) home, good wine and good food, scenery, and of course culture available to everyone. Although I speak French badly, I read it quite well, which means I am open to a whole set of new historical and cultural perspectives which I find fascinating.
Although born in the UK, I am afraid that I have almost no affinity with it now, and have only visited once in the past 15 years.
Kindest regards,
Norm
