    Headtracker und stereoscopic display mit panotools fuer VR
    Ich habe ein eMagin z800 HMD womit ich arbeite mit stereoscopie in 3D programme, video und photo. Das HMD hat einer headtrackerer also QTVR und panos sind shoen um an zu schauen. Ich habe zwei problemen, vieleicht gibt es ein antwort.

    1) Der headtracker ist ein virtuellen maus. So Ich presse die linker maustaste when ich mein haupt bewege.
    When my head stops the movement continues unless I depress the left-mouse. How easy would it be to add an option that just neglects the left-mouse button and translates all movement to the ptviewer application? Are there any third party tools I could use? Vielleicht kan ich das anti-rsi programm mousetool nutzen, es macht ein click wann die maus halts.

    2) I want depth perception within the spherical image (stereoscopy within pano's). This could be accomplished by shooting two sets of spherical images a little distance apart. I could use the anaglyph method, but I am curious how far I could go with page-flipping.
    Unfortunately I can't find an application that can deliver this. Do you have ideas? If the two images are opengl or directx objects it might be possible that the nvidia stereoscopic driver automatically makes them stereo, so perhaps I should look at projecting them in VRML, but I think you can only define one background instead of two and not make them go through the pageflipping process.

    vielleicht fragen Sie mal Herrn Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Clauß (leider nicht im openBC). Er baut eine stereoskopische Panoramakamera (Karline) und hat sich sicher bereits intensiv mit dem Thema beschäftigt.
