    Vivezza
    RESTAURANT VIVEZZA

Discover Italian cuisine at its best at ‘Restaurant Vivezza.’ On the evening of the 9th October Vivezza is the place to be for dinner. You will be able to network and develop business. Or if you prefer sit with a loved one and enjoy the lovely, peaceful ambiance and listen to the smooth hum of the London traffic going by outside. Ideally located on the boundary between Westminster, and Kensington and Chelsea on the Pimlico Road, it is a great spot for businessmen, city workers and London shoppers. Being so close to Earl’s Court’s exhibition centres it is an ideal place for those people who have been at a conference or exhibition all day and want to come out and have a nice meal.

The food: succulent, juicy and enticing: you want to keep trying more and more. With tasty dishes on the menu like mouth-watering breast of chicken in Marsala wine served with scoops of cool, luscious melon or creamy risotto with crisp seafood.

Restaurant Vivezza is also the home of the Truffle. ‘La Fontana’ restaurant, which previously stood on the same spot and for years, was the foremost truffle restaurant in London. now has given way to a new restaurant: Restaurant Vivezza.

The Truffle menu has been designed specially for the short white Truffle season, which runs from October to December, with beauties on it like Venison Carpaccio with white Truffle or a white Truffle risotto. For a table choosing this exceptional Truffle menu Vivezza is happy to offer a fine and suitable bottle of wine with manager Miguel’s compliments.

There are 10 species of Truffle found in Italy. The white truffle, or ’Magnatum Pico’, is gathered in Alba and it is by far the most rare and most expensive. It grows amongst the roots of oak, willow, hazelnut and poplar trees. Truffle hunters harvest them at night with dogs specially trained to sniff out the underground treasure. The aroma is very enticing particularly when the truffle is shaved over pasta, risotto or meats. It is also famously regarded as an aphrodisiac.

This is quite possibly the only place worth having Truffles in London.

Prices are very reasonable and start from as little as £5.95 for a crisp baby spinach salad with mozzarella, avocado and crispy bacon, or £5.20 for a creamy hot soup of the day for a starter.

A delicious main course could then be a succulent roasted sea bass with green fennel, or perhaps a crunchy, tasty breaded veal escalop for £12.75.

And why not accompany your choice with a portion of the best zucchini fritti in London at £3.00 or crisp French fries for £2.75.

The a la carte is not the only menu on offer. At lunchtime there is an exceptional ”value for money” table d’hote with many enticing choices priced at just £12.45 for two courses or £14.95 for three.

If you can’t make it on the 9th October, perhaps you would like to come at another date? Vivezza would be very keen to welcome you. Vivezza is a must visit for all those Italian food fans.
