Happy New Year 2009 to everyone in the Perl Community
and especially to you in Xing as you might be reading this.
We have a nice Xing Group here with just a little less than 2009 members in it, but hardly anyone writes articles.
Surely, we like it niceand cosy and a spot without spam is very welcome indeed, but we would like to see a little more of you.

Please, if you want to make any more profit of the group than just showing you are a Perl Programmer in your profile, find the Introduction forum and tell the other participants who you are and wat you do (with Perl). That's the start to networking in the group.
Also, the two moderators Sören and Renée are quite busy already in other parts of the Perl Community, and with a growing number of non-German-speakers in the group, we would like to get see more in the English language forums.
And there is no need to stop there, why not have French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and more language forums here?
What we need to make that dream come true, is more moderators who are at home in one of those (or other) languages and are keen on devoting some time to the Perl Community at Xing.
If you think, you are the right person and want to do the job, please contact Sören via email (or a contact request to Sören if you are not his contact yet).
