  Perl programmer - long term contract in Sydney, Australia

  Green Light, an IT professional services company based in Sydney, are looking for an expert Perl programmer.
  
  Our client is a big telco carrier, based in Sydney, and the role is within their software development team that is responsible for web development and broadband management.
  
  We are looking for someone
  - with excellent Perl programming skills & experience (THE essential criteria)
  - familiar with a Linux, MySQL environment
  - experience working with enterprise relational databases (written in MySQL and Oracle)
  - ideally coming from a telco or ISP background
  
  The role is live now and the team is interviewing now. The successful candidate can start immediately.
  
  Altough the xing- perl group's member base is not really at home in Australia, does anyone know anyone by any chance (Australian residents/citizens only)?

  Do you know the Perlmonger groups in Australia? They have a milinglist where you can post job offers (and other Perl related stuff).
