  Introduction

  Hello Groupmembers,
  
  i have been using PostgreSQL along with .NET to create powerful Server-Client-Applications. I also use PostgreSQL for Content-Management-Systems in Small to middle sized Businesses. I recoded the CMS-Systems from MySQL to PostgreSQL.
  
  I like PostgreSQL, because its simple, fast and powerful.
  Also its free to use.
  
  My Company is developing a lot of powerful tools, with PostgreSQL Backend. Therefore i had to be in this Group on Xing ;)
  
  Hope to make some good Cooperations here on Xing

  I think thats because Databases like MySQL are much to expensive. In combination with PHP most of them are free - but along with .NET you have to pay sick amounts of Money - for each Server! And even if you pay for them, they still can't get to the PostgreSQL Level in performance.
  
  PostgreSQL is just perfect! Simple and powerful!
  
  If i would have known about PostgreSQL earlier, i would have never learned other Databases like MySQL.

  Never thought about this argument.
  Usually I hear SQL-Server in combination with .NET ...
