    Stanford's free online AI class
    Dear Group,

    First of all, my name is Wim Deprez, I just joined XING recently and am happy to join your interest group.

    As I was searching your fora, I didn't find any mention of the exciting news from the Stanford university. They have made the initiative of opening up their coming AI classes to the public. Lectures will be streamed and everybody is able to join, for free.

    Personally, I am merely an AI-enthusiast, I have the basics from during my study, but never majored in it. I have applied to become part of their online class. Maybe others of you might be interested as well? More information can be found at http://www.ai-class.com/ .

    Just a small additional information. Sebastian Thrun has started a complete new programm at udacity.com.
    So for everyone who is interested in free AI classes, you might want to check this out as well.
