Hi,

I know one of the Pentaho projects (Pentaho Data Integration aka Kettle) before it went to open source at end of 2005 and now I'm proud of beeing a part of the Pentaho team for over one year, since about mid 2007.

As you can imagine, my main tasks are in the Kettle field. Additionally I have some fundamental knowledge of the whole plattform and it's components but not as deep as of Kettle.

At our first community meet up in Mainz (my home town near Frankfurt) the demand for more meet ups and knowledge sharing was there and thus the participants decided to use XING as a communication plattform for Europe.

I will support these activities here in Germany and Europe as best as I can do whereas I'm not very active in the community due to my time constraints. But also Doug Moran, our "community father" is happy to help.

If you have any Pentaho related questions or problems, don't hesitate to ask me and I can help you or connect you to the right people at Pentaho or just throw a link to you ;-)
