  Company Description
  Leader in tabletop thin-film metrology; Markets: semiconductor, solar, biomedical, and vacuum-coating industries; significant presence in Europe through a network of resellers; Now opening an European Applications Lab in Kramsach (Austria) to support these resellers.
  
  Job Description
  This is the initial position for the new Applications Lab. The successful candidate will work with the U.S. employees on the technical set up of the lab, and then be responsible for supporting customers and resellers. This support will include understanding customer metrology requirements, applying (and adapting if necessary) measurement techniques, generating reports, and insuring instrument performance after delivery.
  
  The ideal candidate will have the capacity to grow the office and eventually assume the position of Managing Director for European Operations.
  
  Formal training will include 1-2 weeks at the U.S. offices, as well as 1-2 weeks with visiting the personnel. Extensive training documentation is available.
  
  Travel requirements are expected to be minimal. Aside from there being existing resellers for most territories, the strategy focuses on the quality and timeliness of its remote support.
  
  Financial range: 50-70k € p.a.
