Partner program broadens scope of Qt Framework with extended technology, consulting and training services
Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks today announced the launch of the Qt Partner Program to offer enhanced consulting and training services, and new technology partnerships. With over a hundred thousand downloads of Qt per month, thousands of companies in more than 70 industries around the globe are rapidly adopting Qt as their preferred framework for cross-platform application and UI development.
The Qt Partner Program is designed to extend a richer set of resources to these companies and to ensure more widely available support and guidance for them to successfully complete their projects. The cutting-edge nature of innovations built using the Qt cross-platform application development framework is breaking new ground for many of the companies that have adopted Qt. Giving these companies an extra layer of partner-based knowledge ensures they will be well served for more of their development needs.
The decisive criteria for selecting partners to participate in the Qt Partner Program includes the quality of their work, their competence with Qt and their industry and geographic reach. Selected partners will receive exposure to hundreds of thousands of Qt developers worldwide.
The Qt Partner Program is divided into three levels:
Qt Partners – Select partners that contribute to the Qt ecosystem with specific competence or Qt add-ons
Qt Certified Partners - Select partners that deliver premium consulting and training services around Qt
Qt Alliance Partners – Strategic partners that integrate Qt services and technologies into their global business extending the reach of Qt deeper into multiple industry domains. Alliance partnerships may encompass consulting, training and technology.
Several partners have already been selected to participate in this program. They include Digia and Tieto as Qt Alliance Partners. Further to this, basysKom, Cybercom, GTE, ICS and KDAB have been selected as Qt Certified Partners.
“We are launching the Qt Partner Program to bring a new wealth of support to the fast-growing Qt community by building an ecosystem of professional services and technology partners that offer high quality Qt services and Qt add-ons for desktop, web, industrial embedded and mobile developers,” said Daniel Kihlberg, director of sales, marketing and services for Qt.
