News from Mobile World Congress
The day kicked off with the joint announcement from Nokia and Intel to merge Moblin and Maemo into MeeGo. Qt will be the default application and UI framework on the new platform.

Later on, we released Qt 4.6.2 which brings new Qt APIs from the Mobility team, the completed port to Maemo 5, the beta version of the Nokia Smart Installer for Symbian and a serious amount of bugfixes.

Another new addition to Qt is Qt Quick which will be part of the Qt 4.7 Tech Preview in March.
