Assuming that some people will be clicking through form the newsletter,
I'd like to use the attention ;) for the question - what do we want this group to be?
There is a lot of people interested in the reboot spirit - and a lot of people obviously joined for a different reason which I would call "lets see if we find people here".
OF the people of the first group, I do feel that many people would like to connect on a European level (which is one thing why they do join a group ike this) and another for the ideas behind reboot.
If you share why you did join or would like to see, maybe we can find a way to either give each other suggestions or think how this pool of interested people can be transformed.
Looking forward to any input. :)

Dear Nicole,
thank you for this topic, I think it is good to know where we want to go with this group.
I joined the group for different reasons.
First of all I really like the reboot spirit - never heard that much positive feedback about a conference.
Secondly joined the group to
- get information about "the next reboot"
- see who is coming
- see who has been there
- have the reboot badge on my profile (to be honest)
I also thought about sharing/ ask for hotel suggestions e.g.
kind regards
Vivian

Hi Nicole,
thanks for the good starter.
First thing I'd expect is to update the group logo :).
Seriously, I checked & saw that apart from the reboot.dk website itself (which at this point is, sadly, quite buggy & seems to lack community activity), no other major social network (i.e. facebook, linkedin) had any group running, which struck me as odd for any international conference/community of this kind & suggested that in this case, this xing group is actually the potential major online space to connect & reconnect with others from the event.
So that's the one major reason: Connecting before & reconnecting after the event, using the group as a handy rolodex & communication platform.
Secondly, together with that come the pragmatical, organizational tidbits Vivian mentioned: Meeting up for shared rides & hotel rooms, suggestions for where to dine out etc., but also preoganizing shared sessions.
And thirdly, I see it as a way to actively promote the conference, especially in non-Scandinavian EU countries - through the badge on your profile, mailings, etc.
Looking for further input (& meeting you all in June),
Sebastian
