Dear Members
It is my pleasure to announce that my new Book has been done.
Encyclopedia of Libya Banknotes.
http://banknoteclub.com/libyabook.php
When I started writing this book, I thought it would take me a few months; instead, it took me a few years. However, it was time filled with enjoyment and enrichment of knowledge. I was diving and flying here and there to get information and I felt sorry that until now, the topic of replacement notes, of Libya has not been covered.
During my research for the book, I found out some interesting information that leads me to conclude that only two issues in Libya during the French occupation (Fezzan) are originals, the rest are counterfeits. Cross over could hardly be found in few issues.
Following the Ottoman occupation, until its independence in 1951, Libya has been under British, French and Italian occupation. The following notes were circulated there
Egyptian pounds
Italian Lire
GB pounds
French Francs
The book will explain this in details.
Why the British armed Forces has produced Italian lire ?
Which denomination or prefixes of Allied Army of British Occupation has been circulated in Libya?
I can even see that First issue WPMC is second edition and that was explained too
Thanks to all members in Arabic chapter who have contributed to that work and thanks to many other friends as Peter Syms , Joe Boling , Pam West and more I have mentioned in the book .
The book is 340 pages in 4 colors and bilingual ( English and Arabic )
I believe that Royal Libya Currency is so RARE and harder to find than Lebanon , Egypt and even Palestine
I expect that soon Libya currency will be the Black horse.
Accordingly I expect a real raise in Royal Issues especially in High grades which are simply close to impossible.
Early Birds will enjoy 10% discount
You can contact me direct for your autographed copy .

I hope that you will enjoy diving in that lovely Ocean of Banknotes and I do appreciate your comments and feedback for a better 2nd edition
