  Hi RIA Forum community,
  
  we've stopped blogging for a while but we have been pretty occupied so now we are back...what did we do? RIA evaluation using really "hot and fancy" UI technologies.
  
  The project miReport started by evaluating the Sencha Touch framework (http://www.sencha.com/products/touch/), a framework which enables developers to create native looking UIs based on JavaScript. First it was just a little evaluation, later on we became pretty familar with Sencha Touch (and the corresponding pitfalls!), finally we ended up in creating a fully HTML5/CSS3 based reporting solution adressing management requirements such as viewing company data mobile.
  
  Just take a look at the following link (use either Chrome or iPad/Android Tablet) and feel the power of HTML5!

  From our point of view this is a pretty nice show case demoing the power of HTML5 & CSS3 - it's not always best choice to learn XCode and buy a Mac in order to develop mobile applications - a simple editor or Eclipse is totally sufficient!

  the demo you linked doesn't work in the latest chrome
