    Scrum on a Page - Update 2010
    Der wahrscheinlich beliebteste "Scrum-Spickzettel" ist wohl "Scrum on a Page" auf XP123.com von William C. Wake. Seine letzte Version von 2005 [1a,b] ist tausendfach im Umlauf und hängt sicher nicht nur in den Projektbüros vieler von mir betreuter Scrum-Teams. Da Bill wenig Zeit hatte, das Dokument zu aktualisieren, habe ich mir die Mühe gemacht, das zu tun. Bspw. wurden einige Beschreibungen ergänzt, neue Elemente wie Retrospektiven und Burndown Charts als eigene Punkte aufgenommen und die informelle Stakeholder-Rolle in Grau gekennzeichnet.

    Das Dokument steht unter [2a,b] zum kostenlosen Download bereit in guter Druckqualität. Bill weiß Bescheid, will sich meine Version aber erst anschauen, bevor er entscheidet, ob er sie auf seiner Seite auch anbietet.

    Hallo Herr Kriegisch,

    vielen Dank für die sehr hilfreiche Übersicht, die ich bisher noch gar nicht kannte :)
    Auf jeden Fall sehr hilfreich, um die Kernelemente von Scrum auch anderen zu erklären.

    Eine gut gemachte Übersicht, die kannte ich auch bisher nicht.
    Ein paar Sachen sind mir aufgefallen:
    - bei Schwarzweißdruck ist der graue SH von den gelben Rollen kaum zu unterscheiden. Da wäre weiß als Farbe vermutlich deutlicher
    - im Sprint Retrospective Meeting taucht eine offenbar beim Editieren übrig gebliebene Zeile "2. PO accepts Product Increment (or not)" auf.

    Es ist klar, dass man "on a Page" nicht alle Aspekte des Prozesses darstellen kann, aber in meinem Verständnis spielt die Definition of Done eine wichtige Rolle bei der Einschätzung, wie und warum Scrum funktioniert. Wäre das als Artifact zu klassifizieren, oder sprengt das eher den Rahmen einer solchen Übersicht?

    Erst mal danke an Hans-Martin. Den Fehler habe ich behoben, das Grau heller gemacht. Da es in der Scrum-Liste auf Yahoo auch noch Feedback gab, habe ich noch ein paar andere Details geändert. Ich zitiere einfach mal meine eigene E-Mail (sorry, in Englisch), weil ich gerade wenig Zeit habe:

    I just updated the document in response to some comments I received here in this list and in a German Scrum group at XING. Things changed since yesterday:
     
    * Daily Scrum: I now mention that "PO observes, catches up on status" and that "PO answers T's questions if asked" to make clear what his role is.
    * Daily Scrum: I now mention that "Each T member (and optionally SM) answers" the three questions. I did this because I know Scrum teams (among them most of mine) in which the SM also briefly reports what he did about the impediments on the Blocks List. This concerns the Team, so it makes sense.
    * I do *not* explicitly mention, though, that the PO may not always attend the Daily Scrum. This is up to the Team and situation, but seeing something like this on the cheat sheet would encourage newbie POs to skip Daily Scrums and miss the chance to update themselves cheaply. Instead they might pester their Teams with unnecessary questions during the day. The best dysfunctional behaviour is probably the one not shown at all, which saves work for the SM.
    * I also do *not* draw a circle around Team, SM and PO to indicate the notion of "Scrum Team" (as opposed to the classic Scrum project team without PO and SM). I think this is covered by those three having the same colour.
    * Definition of Done (DoD) added as a separate artifact upon request by a German guy. I did not mention it at all before, so I think it was a good idea to include it. The other artifacts were reformatted to save some space in the corresponding column.
    * Removed double "PO accepts Product Increment (or not)" (copy & paste bug)
    * SH (stakeholder) shade of grey is now lighter for higher contrast in print. Some German guy said the darker shade looked ugly on his printer...
     
    I want to state clearly that this document cannot and does not intend to cover all cases and eventualities. It is not the Ten Commandments (and I am not Moses), just a cheat sheet. ;-)

    Der Vollbildmodus ist Absicht - die Schrift ist klein genug, und ich wollte maximale Lesbarkeit. Einmal kurz ESC zu drücken, um die Menüleisten zurückzubekommen, ist verschmerzbar, denke ich. :-)

    Da sieht man endlich mal, dass Scrum doch ganz einfach ist ;) Zur Ergänzung ein paar Informationen aus der Dokumentationswelt:

    Scrum Guide / Scrum Ressourcen
    ==========================
    Die Scrum Alliance hat inzwischen ihre Ressourcen für CSM Kandidaten aufgeräumt. Der Scrum Guide von Ken Schwaber wird nicht mehr von der Scrum Alliance gehostet. Stattdessen ist die entsprechende Seite auf scrum.org verlinkt. Dort finden sich auch mehrere Übersetzungen des Scrum Guides. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall die Lektüre von Peter Hundermarks "Do Better Scrum". Eine kleine Broschüre mit überraschend viel Inhalt.

    Scrum und Kanban
    ===============
    Henrik Kniberg, Autor des pfundigen "Scrum and XP from the Trenches", hat ein neues Minibook auf InfoQ herausgebracht.. Ich habe es noch nicht gelesen (und auch noch nicht übersetzt, haha). Es steht aber ganz oben auf meiner Liste. Für Fortgeschrittene ScrumMaster zu empfehlen, die ihr 1x1 schon beherrschen und nach Ideen für die bessere Unterstützung ihres Teams suchen.

    Rollenspiele
    ==========
    Scrum hat drei Rollen. Punkt. Boris Gloger sieht das anders, und lenkt sein Augenmerk auf Kunden, Benutzer und Manager. Die Betrachtungsweise macht Sinn, auch wenn wir sie in absehbarer Zeit nicht in der offiziellen Definition von Scrum (Scrum Guide, s.o.) finden werden.
