I think currently internet is the most productive source for generating any content. Social networks like Xing or Facebook as well as content-specific forums also make human interaction on a global scale possible. All these resources together have an extremely positive impact on our learning curve. Even if you know nothing about a subject, you can become quite knowledgeable in the same if you know how to use the Internet systematically. I did that when I started creating contents for portal providing all kinds of information on online gaming. I knew nothing about this subject when I started managing the portal two years back. Today I know that I have acquired some good expertise in this field - thanks only to Internet and forums.
