Hi all,
Since some time, when you search for a company name in Google, the result that Google returns sometimes also includes (apart from the standard title, link and short description info) a two-column table with a number of links that Google apparently has 'scraped' from the homepage.
(For those who are unfamiliar with this, just key in 'Xing' in the Google search box and you will see the result.)
Does anyone know what triggers this behaviour, since it is not done for every company homepage?

I think you mean the 'Sitelinks' generated by Google robot only when they think they'll be useful to the user for navigating the site.

Yes, you are correct.
Only, what makes that the robot considers certain links as being 'relevant'? Has it something to do with the HTML structure of the page? The naming of the divs?
In general, I would expect that the main menu on the homepage always is relevant, but for many sites, these links are not recognized as such.
Any ideas?

Yes because of HTML structure and searching criteria it happened.
