The Finnish software provider Snoobi has been chosen to be one of the 200 finalists for the Red Herring 100 Global Award. In the annual competition, the Red Herring business magazine awards the most promising global technology companies. “Competing among the top technology ventures in the world for the Red Herring award is a great honor and it underlines the growing need for a customer centric web analytics approach”, says Jukka Ropponen, CEO of Snoobi Corp.
Since 1996, technology industry executives, investors, and strategists have valued the Red Herring 100 lists as an instrument for discovering and advocating the most promising private ventures from around the world. ”Those companies that will survive and even grow in the current financial environment will make money to “gazoo” and rise right to the top. Several Red Herring awarded companies are on their way to that top”, stated Alex Vieux, CEO of Red Herring after the announcement of Red Herring 100 Europe list.
The winners of the Global Award will be announced in January 2011 at the finals in Paris. Earlier this year Snoobi was chosen as the Red Herring 100 Europe Winner.
