Job Description
As a Graphics Application Engineer intern, you will be working on 1 to 2 key projects related to Computer Graphics. Examples of such projects include but are not limited to: Shader Decompiler, AVX code samples for game animation and physics, Reyes rendering implementation, Graphics samples for future Intel Graphics hardware, and Performance study of future Intel Graphics Hardware.
Qualifications
You should currently be pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, and be able to undertake an internship for a minimum of 6 months. Additional qualifications include:
- Skills in coding (C, C++, others), especially for prototyping new ideas
- Skills & Experience in Computer Graphics in particular with real-time graphics.
- Experience in DirectX programming and Shader programming.
- Computer architectural knowledge and training
- Software architecture knowledge and training- Fluent verbal and writing skills in English and at least another European language
The following qualifications would be an added advantage:
- Technical skills in system performance analysis (software and hardware)
- Expertise with system analysis tools such as oprofile*and VTune(TM)
- Experience with software-based simulations of hardware architecture behaviour
