Responsibilities and Details
Intel SSG and/or EMEA offers the exciting opportunity to be part of an international Software Engineering team that supports and implements advanced visualization techniques with leading European Gaming and Visual Computing developers. In this position, you will be working directly with game developers on advanced rendering techniques of AAA titles and become a leading expert on Intel's present and future innovative graphics hardware. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing technical training, consultation, and hands-on assistance to software developers in areas of advanced rendering techniques with DX and/or Open GL* and High Level Shaders Languages on Multi-core architectures
- Providing assistance during all development cycles of consumer software including project setup, feature definition, and failure analysis of preproduction software
Qualifications
You have recently accomplished your Bachelor or a Master of Science degree or a Bachelor or a Master of Arts degree. Additional qualifications include:
- Gaming programming experience with one or more of HLSL and/or GLSL and/or DXASM and/or Cg
- Familiarity with algorithms such as shadow mapping, stencil shadow volumes, bloom and/or HDR effects, subdivision surfaces, terrain rendering, bump mapping, parallax mapping, advanced character animation
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding some areas of 3D graphics rendering, game engine architecture, physics simulation, character animation and rigging, game artificial intelligence, game level design
- First project management skills with flexible task prioritization in multiple projects
- English language capabilities
- Experience programming Direct X* 8/9/10 or Open GL* 1/2 graphics
The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- Fluency in another European language
- Experience in Multithreading with Win 32api and OpenMP*
- Experience in optimization techniques on Intel� architecture (Core technology)
with usage of Intel compilers C++, debugger, Intel� VTune(TM) Analyzer and Intel Threading Toolkit
