How to create a brand in SL?
This forum is still empty now and - what a coincidence - I have a questions which might be answered but someone out of this group...

I have the idea of creating a brand inside SL. It is a word - and also a graphic image attached to. I am quite sure that it is still vacant - but as I am a more technical person (well also in communities *g*) I simply miss the knowledge how to start this...

My idea is to create a brand for offereing and selling a set of products and services inside SL. Some of those services are RL services which I want to sell inworld. We already are a group of people who are using this brand and logo. But we want to make it official - before we are getting bigger and bigger ;-) How to?

Our experience is that you can hardly be successful in SL as a one-man-show. You need to team up with others. Building a fun and business community - acting and doing business under a common name. This is what we already did - but we are always into a process - so we are always looking for other content producers or services providers who are able and willing to work with a team. Just contact me if you are interested in more details.

But now: First of all - how to start making such a 'brand' and 'logo' official / protected / registered? What is the easiest way - and the less cost-intensive way too ;-) as I do not want to spend a fortune.
